John Damiano was born and educated in Los Angeles, California where he met his wife Jeanette. John and Jeannette have been married over 25 years. They have three children, John III, Michael Angelo, and Mary Elizabeth.
John and his family have lived in Atlanta for over fifteen years. John spent over 30 years in retail executive management, where he held many different positions, including EVP of C&R Clothiers, President and CEO of Barbeques Galore, COO of Busybody Fitness, and COO of K&G Superstores, a division of the Men’s Wearhouse.
In 2002, John left the retail business to pursue a career in real estate in Atlanta. In 2002, John was recognized by RE/MAX® as the Rookie of the Year. He has achieved Lifetime status in the Million Dollar Club, 100% Club, and Executive Club. John is also a member of the Atlanta Executive Forum, Business Network International, and Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
In March of 2011 John and his partners left RE/MAX Greater Atlanta and moved their company, The Providence Group of Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Perimeter, to Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Perimeter, where they have settled nicely. John sits on the Board of Directors of the World Trade Center Atlanta, the Board of Friends of North Springs High School, the Board of the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber, the South African Chamber and is a member of Referral Express, a Business to Business Networking Organization.
John is a Senior Executive experienced in management and sales/marketing. With extensive experience in MIS and global purchasing/production he drove a profitable expansion of niche retailers from 33 Superstores to 77 locations and from $133 million to $310 million in annual revenues. Through this experience he has supervised 2500+. As a visionary strategist with spearheading “next level” growth and including national expansion, he is a strong leader skilled in developing highly productive management, sales and support teams to achieve objectives. An innovator adept in utilizing technology and international resources to generate the solid competitive edge while improving quality. He is an excellent negotiator involving highly cost-effective, fine quality raw materials purchases and production agreements with manufacturers and top-flight designers in US, Europe, UK, Pacific Rim and Middle East.
John enjoys being with his family, reading, golfing, tennis, and most sports. John enjoys people and developing life long relationships. He enjoys life and giving his time and knowledge to help others.
